Unfortunately, the current CardXpress machines are Dying. There's no hardware left to fix them, and OnQ can't support them any more. That leaves a pile of frustrated distributors, and very few people who can fix them — even OnQ are losing the staff that know the machines.
However, it's not all bad news. We can keep these machines working, and also provide support for them without needing to call OnQ. This will be the place!
This means that there needs to be a place to pool our knowledge, and stick all the documentation that we can find. I've started this with a How to rebuild a CardXpress section, and there are also some common errors below
- Argent Error Numbers and solutions
- Verify the cabling
- Changing a site setup
- Replacing the old printer with the new POS printer
- New PrintCapture software
- CardXpress Support Manual
- New SIP Console Software
I can now offer a complete CardXpress Rebuild and Refurbish for (usually) less than $4000 per site.
